Yes — delivery is completely free within 50 miles for buildings up to 12' wide. No fuel surcharges, no setup fees, no surprises. Concrete block leveling is not included. For buildings wider than 12' or addresses beyond 50 miles, we'll give you an exact quote before you commit to anything.
For deliveries beyond 50 miles, we charge $5 per mile for every mile over 50, based on building size up to 12' wide. Larger or wider buildings may carry a different rate. This charge covers fuel, driver time, and equipment for the extended haul. Your final delivery fee will always be confirmed in writing before delivery.
To ensure a smooth delivery, please make sure: (1) There's a clear, firm path at least 12' wide leading to the placement location. (2) The site is reasonably level — we can handle slight grades but not steep slopes. (3) Overhead clearance is sufficient — low-hanging branches and power lines can prevent placement. (4) A proper amounto of 4" Solid Concrete block for leveling. An adult is present on delivery day. We'll walk you through everything when you purchase.
No concrete pad required. All Athens Barn Center portable buildings are delivered and leveled on 4"×8"×16" solid concrete blocks. This is not included, the custoemr must provide the proper amount of block. This keeps your building stable, level, and off the ground. A gravel pad underneath is a great optional upgrade for drainage, but is not required.
Most deliveries are completed in under two hours from the time our crew arrives. The building is transported on our trailer, positioned with a powered mule machine, and blocked and leveled on-site. When we leave, your building is sitting level and ready to use — same day.
Yes! Knoxville is approximately 45 miles from Athens — most Knoxville addresses fall within our free delivery zone. Cleveland is about 25 miles away — free delivery. Chattanooga is approximately 58 miles — just outside the free zone, but delivery is available for an estimated $40 mileage fee. Use the address checker above for your exact address.
Absolutely. The majority of our East Tennessee deliveries are to rural and semi-rural properties with gravel or dirt driveways. Our mule machine is designed to work on firm unpaved surfaces. We'll discuss any specific site concerns when you purchase so there are no surprises on delivery day.
