James, The Barn Guy

James, The Barn Guy, is a lifelong resident of the area 

Early in his career, he helped build one of the largest communication installation networks in the nation. It was then, an interest in construction and a passion for helping people that led him to the mobile home industry.

After a successful career there, he made the jump into the portable shed business and quickly became the largest dealer in the area for Backyard Outfitters USA, INC as well as becoming a TOP 5 Retailer for Eagle Carports, INC.

Over the years he has become known as The Barn Guy. He and his team offer the largest selection of sheds, barns, garages, and carports in the area.

A tradition of Mennonite Craftsmanship

Since 2006, We at Athens Barn Center, Have partnered with the Largest Portable Building Manufacture in the US. Using the old-fashioned, country tradition of barn building, we at Athens Barn Center create quality storage buildings for many happy customers throughout Tennessee and  North Georgia. Our factories use the same traditional construction techniques and philosophies handed down from generation to generation among the many Amish and Mennonite communities. But make no mistake, you can find our buildings in the heart of big cities as well as small towns and farms.
