It’s worth noting that Athens Barn Center is fully licensed and insured to move sheds, which means that

 you can have peace of mind knowing that your shed is being transported legally and safely. On the other hand, most towing companies are not equipped or licensed to move sheds, which may lead to a lack of accountability if anything goes wrong during the moving process.

We will do our best to move your shed safely and without damage

• The building must be empty
• We are not responsible for any damage to the building
• We do not remove fencing, gates, mailboxes, etc
• We do not move other obstacles
• We do not trim trees
• The customer should provide a clear path with 14′ Clearance to pick up and to placement
• We do not move buildings with 3 or 5 skids, or buildings without skids
• Inside skids must not be more than 72” apart
• We do not move buildings wider than 16’
• Buildings larger than 12’ wide require an additional fee
• We do not move out of the State of Tennessee
• We do not rent or use cranes to move or set buildings
• We are not responsible for ruts in gravel, grass, or flower beds
• The customer is responsible for additional equipment if needed

Standard leveling (What’s included) - Customer to Provide Block

We start with 1 cap block on the High side and bring the building to level. Leveling every 5’-8’ apart. Fo

r buildings that have 4 skids and you want to go higher than the standard leveling, we charge an additional $100 fee per run.

For example, if you want your shed 2 Block high on the High side it would be an additional $100

We do not level buildings over 2’ High

Due to the old block becoming brittle over time, we ask you to provide us with new block at the delivery address to level your building. We suggest solid cap blocks and in some cases the standard 8″ block if the building falls more than 8″ of level.

We recommend 4″x8″x16″ Solid Concrete Cap Block and 8″ Standard Core Concrete Block (Pictured)

Anything other than 4" Solid Block or 8" Block, as pictured, is not acceptable and will not be used!
